Access 97 automatic spell check corrupting data

I dont know if I've picked up a virus or what, but I've just found that if I
enter, for example, HSA in a field, it automatically changes to HAS .
It seems to be carrying out an automatic spell correction.
Any help appreceiated.

change the AutoCorrect Property for the Control to no

Edit your Autocorrect file and remove "HSA"
