Access 97 does not start

"A system error occured or there isn't enough memory to
start Microsoft Access"

I have just installed Office '97 and I am running Windows
XP. Everytime I run Access '97 I get the following
message. Can anyone help?

I have tried updating and troubleshooting but no joy.
