Access 97 doesn't load properly under XP with Office 2003

Access 97 doesn't load properly under XP with Office 2003. Actually, I loaded Word97 from Office 97 and that works fine. But when I click on msaccess.exe it comes up with error "can't find the database you specified, or you didn't specify a database at all". When I click on northwinds.mdb, the sample database the error is: "The command line you used to start Microsoft Access contains an option that Microsoft Access doesn't recognize". I had removed Office97/Access97 and then used regClean97 and then did a fresh install to a new folder /Microsoft Office97.

Any Ideas? Thanks. /Howard
