Access 97- Excel 2003

I have a user trying to Save as/Export an Access 97 database to an Excel 2003
spreadsheet. When she selects Save as/export, Excel is not listed as a
selection for output type.

Sounds like she's using the wrong approach. Don't use "Save as". Use only
"Export". Select the latest Excel format available from the drop-down list
(Access 97 is stuck in its own time warp). Open the exported file with Excel
2003 and hope that it displays correctly.
