access 97 in Vista

Well, I've searched this forum and tried many suggestions, but keep coming up
with problems.

We're a non-profit nature center, and can't afford to replace software like
this, so I'm trying to get our database onto the new Vista computer.
1) When we first loaded access97 it told us that we didn't meet minimum
requirements. We've since gotten around that.
2) We've switched compatability mode and that only got us so far.
3) Now we've got the error message "Object ID 3405: RegOleAu CAH:
OleDllRegisterServer call failed"

Can anyone help with what to try next?

I forgot to mention, we did manage to get a copy loaded at one point, but it
wasn't starting and told us that we had a system error or not enough memory!?!

Access 97 will almost certainly have trouble running on Windows Vista
unless you are running the program as an administrator.

Not sure but ..

You need to install SR2 and Jet 3.5 Sp3.

This might fix your above RegAleAu problem.

Our runtime Acc97 application runs fine on Vista. The only thing we
did was to let the application "Run as Administrator" (as Tony Toews
noted) by selecting the "Advanced" option on the properties of the
application icon.
