Access 97 installed on top of Office XP

We installed Office XP on a machine, then installed Access
97 SR2 (everyone has not converted their databases to
Access XP yet). We receive an error message, everytime we
launch Excel 2002. The error message is a Microsoft
Visual Basic box stating "Compile error in hidden module:
ThisWorkbook". Does anyone know why we keep receiving
this error message once we launch Excel after Access 97 is
loaded on top of it?
