Have you looked at the samples/template databases that come with the Access
CD? They provide a good start for the most common database apps, such as
inventory.

The database requires Access 2000...I have Access 97...any other
possibilities?

I have converted it backwards to '97, but not tested for missing
functionality...let me know if you want it. Zip file is 134KB.
