Access '97 on Windows 2k Pro

Hoping for help.

Need to keep Office '97 for training purposes. Have
setup a machine (P2 233 - 128 M ram, Gb's of free disk
space). When I install all products work fine - except
Access!

When I launch, I keep getting "System error or not enough
memory to run" then launch aborts.

Have tried re-installing Access only, then full Office,
then on other machine - same results.

Any suggestions or guidance deeply appreciated.

same problem occurs with Access 97 on Win XP Pro tried
adjusting virtual memory has no affect for me, it may for
you.

I downloaded a Jetcomp.exe (Jet35sp3.exe) from the
following link (http://support.microsoft.com/?id=172733)
it is not supported by microsoft, but it did fix the out
of memory error and I can use access again.
