We are using rich text boxes on forms in a MS Access 97
application. We want one of these to be disabled under
certain conditions, but we also want to keep the white
background so that the text inthe bax is easily
readable. I tried locking the box, but this seemed to
have no affect on typing into the box. So i disabled and
locked the field, which leaves the white background and
prevents typing into the field, but when i set it back to
enabled and not locked the box jumps up to the left hand
corner of the form instead of staying in it's original
location. Is there a way to prevent typing, keep the
white background and maintain the correct location for
the field?
