I have a database with a bunch of linked table from a SQL
server. From Windows 2000 machines everything works fine
but from Window ME and 98 things are not so good. When a
user uses the find dialog box it stops on records that
don't include the text they are searching for. Also when a
SQL command is run from VBA to update a table with a new
piece of data it consistently inserts the wrong value.
I have run all the Office updates and OS udates.
Is there some difference in the OS that would explain this?
