Access asking for a login and password

When I open any database from our server it asked for a username and
password, but there is no security on any databases on any of the network
drives. How do I get this version of access to stop doing this? I use Access
XP

Whether you are prompted for a UserName and Password has nothing to do with what
file you are opening. It has to do with the workgroup file (mdw) being used by
the Access session. If that workgroup has a Password assigned to the default
user account "Admin" then you are prompted. If it does not have a Password
assigned then you are not prompted.

Somewhere along the line your default workgroup was changed to one that has a
Password on the Admin user. You need to either clear that Password or join a
different workgroup where that user has no Password assigned.
