Access 2002: Can you help please with a calculation . I
have the following headings
Auto number Forename Surname Occup. Regist.
Unit 1 Unit 2 Unit 3 Unit 4 Unit 5 Unit 6 Unit 7 004
Cert. percentage
What I am trying to do is if I put in a candidate say No
1 John Smith and he does units 4, 6 and 1 the results
show up in %
But it has got to work so that I can choose any Unit or
combination of units to arrive at the correct % also
His Friend Jack Doe is not a Bricklayer but is a
Carpenter and his qualification is 10 units as well as
registration , 004 and certificate.
How can I get Access to differentiate from a Brickllayer
7 units plus the reg, oo4 and certificate againts the
carpenter who is 10 units plus the reg, 004 and
certificate ?
This one is well over my head .....can you please
help ....but in very simple basic ways to move ahead
please?
I have read at least 6 books around this and have asked
others, but it appears a problem to solve that no one has
the answer !!
