I'm getting this error on a laptop that had Office 97 Professional installed
on it. All the other Office apps work fine. One note: the user account
Office was originally installed under no longer exists (it was a local
account - all accounts are now domain accounts). I tried re-installing but
no success. Is there a quick (e.g. registry) fix for this?

There is a free download to fix the problem but it only works on Windows 98 I believe.
