Office2003. DBs are stored on a network file share. I am unable to open DBs
that are already open by other users. This is only a fairly recent problem,
as DBs used to open for me even when others had them open already. I get no
error messages, just no response at all. I have narrowed down the problem to
be with my computer's configuration, based on:
If all other users close the files, then I can open them.
If I have the files open, other users can open them.
From a different computer, I can open the files even while others have the
file open already.
No one is opening the files with Open Exclusive.
Anyone have any idea what configuration it may be that changed to cause this
behavior?
