Access crashes when I try to get to VB code

Hi,

Access 2003 has developed a bug where it hangs when I try to open VBA
environment. This happens in any database including blank ones. It was
working fine until yesterday :S

Any tips would be great - IT support here is pants.

Sounds like a conflict with some other software.

What changes have you made recently?
Installed new software? Changed a setting? A new add-in?

Uninstalling the other program, and the re-installing office should fix it.
(May need to uninstal office as well.)

Office has recently been upgraded to 2003 but I have had a couple of week of
problem free usage since then and haven't installed anything in that period.
Unfortunately I don't have the access rights to install and unistall
software:( The office suite has been repaired and all available updates have
been installed but the bug is still there.

If you don't have the authority to manage your own machine Chris, sounds
like it's time to catch up on some reading until your IT people can
uninstall and reinstall the software for you.

I'm not quite sure how, buut deleting and recreating my profile solved the
problem...
