Access database for distribution

Hello all
I have been asked to provide an access database for distribution that will
function on systems without access being installed. I currently use access
2000 and have not been able to locate any info on this from microsoft site.

2000 and have not been able to locate any info on this from microsoft site.

You need to purchase the Office 2000 Developers Edition (or you may
want to upgrade to OfficeXP, AccessXP is faster, more stable, and in
many ways an improvement over 2000). The Developers Edition includes a
runtime license for multiple users, and an installation wizard.

Thanks for your email and the link info. from there a bit of navigating
later i discover that MS offers an uprade to office XP from some earlier
versions such as 97 and 2000!
