access denied for outlook.pst

my xp computer system crashed and I moved my backup copy
of outlook.pst over to a temporary ME system, but when I
run Outlook it won't open the copy of outlook.pst. It
gives error message of "access denied, you don't have the
required permissions". Both systems are/were running
Office XP. What gives? How can I fix this?

Ok, I feel dumb now. I fixed the problem. I just needed

to uncheck the read-only attribute in the properties box.
