access does not display odbc sources when selected

Hi when trying to link external data tables using Access, once I select ODBC
sources no "select Data source dialogue" is displayed. What is going on
here? And how can I get Access to allow me to link SQL tables inot my Access
database?

Probably because the Norton Anti-Virus plugin for Office is blocking the
dialog window. Deactivate the office plugin before selecting the ODBC data
source; you can reenable it later. Don't remember the exact name for the
plugin but this topic comes here often in the newsgroups.

Other antivirus might show the same behavior.
