access driver

I'm trying to set up a database on a new computer with Vista. I've installed
Microsoft Office 2007, and everything seems to be working just fine; however,
when I go to the ODBC administrator to set up a new system DSN, I don't have
the option of choosing Microsoft Access (.mdb). In fact, I only have one
option, which is SQL.
Any suggestions on how I can get this to show up as a choice.
My log in is set up as an administrator, so i'm not sure what else I need to
do.
We've also tried re-installing the MO 2007 software, but that didn't help.

thanks!

I really appreciate your help with this. I'm not having any luck finding
this file though. I did a search, and there are two help files called:
odbcinst, but they just have odbc info.....like how to choose one from the
list and such. The others are: odbcint.dll.mui (4 different ones with the
same name), odbcint.dll (4 of these with the same name). I can't get them to
open. Any suggestions on where I should go from here. Thank you very much
for your help; I'm at a loss!!

I haven't used Vista yet so here are the instructions for Windows XP:

Look in your c:\windows folder for the odbcinst.ini file. It should have a
long list of drivers installed, including:

[ODBC 32 bit Drivers]
Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb) (32 bit)=Installed

If you don't see it or the other drivers (foxpro, Excel, dbase, Paradox, etc),
your odbc installation is horked.

Thanks so much for your help! I'm not used to these discussion groups
anyway. I just thought it would be worth a shot, to try and find an answer
to this problem.
Thanks so much, I try posting it there.
