Access fails to run

I've installed Office Enterprise 2007 on my laptop (Vista), and all the
component parts run OK except Access. I've tried inserting the DVD and asking
for a repair, which seemed to run well, and I've rebooted the computer, but
still Access still won't run. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

Have you searched your hard drive for msaccess.exe? Did you install as
Administrator? Did you do a custom install? Did you have a previous
version of Access on the machine that you upgraded from?
