access for the administrator

i am using office 2000 on windows xp but if i try to save a file to E;/ drive
using a cd/r/rw the error message access denied appears (see administrator)
and i cannot save(saving to floppy is ok) my name is entered as the
administrator but i still cannot save or open files stored on cd/r/rw

Access requires the mdb to be on a writable drive.
The cd/r/rw drive is probably not normally writable. (Only when burning.)
So the .ldb file cannot be created and you can't open the .mdb.
