Access is a container holding all forms, tables, queries
etc for a database. Thus you cannot open form without
opening the container that holds it.
What you can do is set the TOOLS..STARTUP..DISPLAY
FORM/PAGE to the form you want to open. When users click
on the shortcut, Access will open and then open and
display that form.

the whole of MSAccess opens as well. I want to open just
the form.
