Access Group permissions on different machines

I am using Access 2002.
I have set up Group permissions which appear to be working ok from my
machine.
However, they do not work when users log on to the network from a different
machine. What have I done wrong? I have not used the security wizard as I
was nervous about answering questions incorrectly.

Carefully read the Security FAQ:

Then make a copy of your database and the system.mdw file and put them in
another location. Make a second copy of each of those files and build a
practice solution using the security wizard.
