access into procite and vice versa

Does anyone know how to import and export files between
Procite or ENDNOTE and the Access Book Collection
database? That is, transferring records betweem Access and
Procite (Book collection template)

The comments at

suggest that there's no simple way of doing it with Procite. Procite can
however import and export data in text files and Access is fully
programmable. Therefore is possible (but maybe not easy) to write code
to make Access export and import data in a format Procite can handle.

Searching for "ODBC" at http://support.adeptscience.co.uk confirms this
for both Procite and EndNote.
