Do you have all the updates installed for both Windows and Office installed
on the computer?
What are you doing when this happens? If running a query, form, or report,
please post the SQL statement driving them.
How many records are we talking about? Dozens, hundreds, thousands, millions?
Access will often show the "This program is not responding" message if it is
working on something rather long and complex but eventually wakes back up.
Have you tried letting it run for more than an hour or overnight?
