Access Merge

A converted 97 file to 2000 allows user to alphabetize the
table column. But when merged with labels in Word, the
labels show the original input data format (before
alphabetizing) rather than the alphabetized names.

You betst best to base the merge on a query, and that way you can set the
correct sort order to the way you want.
