Access Migration

K

Kishori.

What points should be considered, or what problems can occur while migrating
an older Access application to a later access version?

Why?
You need a new feature of a later version
You can't buy the old version you were using anymore.

What problems?
I'd download the Access 2003 Conversion Toolkit from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...76-5D89-450A-B977-980A9841111E&displaylang=en.
(It's big - 51 MB)

Take a look at the issues addressed in
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;208769 and download
the white paper from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/237313/EN-US/. Although
they are written for 2000, most of the issues are the same for 2002 and
2003.

Good luck.
