Access not running unless I reboot

Hi,
I've just re-installed XP on my PC and now when I try and use a shared
access database on our ptp network, it often fails to open unless I reboot
first. Unusually, I can run a different access database on that shared
resource without a problem.

Checked permissions etc and all seems as they were before. Does nayone have
any ideas?
