cmaz, your question may have made sense in the context of an ongoing
thread, but by changing the Subject you broke the link to your
previous messages (at least in most newsreaders). I have no idea what
idea you're referring to.
Just one possible guess: the Access Query design grid is simply a tool
to create the SQL of a Query. All Queries in Access are SQL strings
which can be viewed using the SQL option on the leftmost tool in the
query design toolbar, or with View... SQL. If you're assuming that
references to SQL mean to the product "SQL/Server", that assumption is
in error.
