Access & Oracle 9

Anything from Access 2000 and later should work fine. Earlier versions
should work to, as long as you have a good ODBC driver that will work with
both.

Access is a good tool for building a user interface to most any database --
Oracle included.

My exprience with using an Access application with an Oracle back-end is
limited. However, when our organization move it's finance package into
Oracle 9, the users needed to upgrade to Access 2000. Access 97 would not
work with any table that had a Descending Index on it.

So far as I know Access 2000 works with Oracle 9.

but i guess, oracle has forms and reports generators too
or creating forms or reports using oracle is far more
complicated than access????

Yes, Oracle has forms and report generators. They are not particularly more
complicated to use than Access, but they are much more expensive.
