I'm reading in records from a text file and to keep the
user aware of what is going on I have a counter. I first
open the text file and read each line to figure out how
many records there are. After closing it, I then start
reading the records into a table. After each record, I
update the screen counter by doing a screen refresh. It's
very fast, but it consistently gets stuck at 300 / 1787.
It works fine on win 98 and 2000 but gets stuck on XP.
Can anyone offer some advice?
