Access Project Form

Hi everyone,
I have an access project connected to a SQL server. I
created a form to interface with the database but it does
not function access. I have an button to add a new
record, but the problem is when I click the button
NewRecord it just defaults to the last record. Any ideas
why and how to fix this? Now if I use the horizontal
scroll on the form to where the form is blank and i start
typing in the text boxes it then adds a record. Any help
would be greatly appreciated. Thank
