I have created an Access Project to work with an existing database. In
addition to the tables contined in that existing database (all of which
appear in the project window), I need to link to a table from another
database. I am trying to do this using the Link Table Wizard, using the
'Linked Server' option.
Next, I clicked 'New Source' and created a .odc object for the table I want,
and it appears in the 'Select Data Source' window. When I select it, however,
it does not appear in the 'File Name' box. And, if I double-click it, the
'Available Tables' listbox only shows the tables that were already in the
database; I can't get the new table into it.
What have I done wrong?
