Access Query to Make Query Table

I made a common beginners mistake (I know that now that
I've taken a Access class)

I create several queries thinking I would automaticly be
able to save them as tables (not just the run query). How
do I now convert these into tables (My teacher told me to
open the query/toolbar/query type/chose query - but
everytime I do that it just opens a new blank query
design form? Will I have to rebuild each of those or am I
missing a step?

1. Open the query in design mode.
2. Go to the Query menu and select "Make-table query..."
3. Enter a name for the table you want to create.
4. Press OK
5. Run the query.

Now you'll find your new table on the "Tables" menu.

And you are about to make another "beginner's mistake". If you can get the data
you need by running a query, then use the query. There is normally no reason to
make a table if the data you need is in the query.

There are exceptions, but they are rare and most often have to do with
performance issues on complex queries.
