I have an Access 2003 database containing a query resulting in 3 columns.
The First column contains a Main Heading, 2nd Column is a sub-heading, and
the 3rd column is the detail.
In my report I have Grouping header options set for the 1st and 2nd columns.
However, sometimes when running the reports - it will NOT group like values
for columns 1 or 2 together. It appears to be happening on reports that
give me a larger number of rows (even though, it's still incredibly small!
like 565 records)
I'm wondering if Access has a bug with it's Sorting and Grouping options.
I've compacted and repaired, converted to other versions, even rebuilt the
entire report to no avail.
The only thing I haven't tried is to create a new DB and transfer the data
to the newly created db. Does anyone have an idea as to why the Sorting and
Grouping options won't perform?
Thank you for your help.
