Where can I find a good online primer about securing Access databases?

Download the FAQ from Gunny's link.

Print it out.

Turn off your computer.

Read it, carefully.

Get a good night's sleep.

Read it carefully... AGAIN.

Turn your computer back on; back up C:\Windows\System32\SYSTEM.MDW and your
database.

Open your database. Follow the steps in the FAQ *precisely* - I use a fresh
printout and a marker and check them off (and I've secured many databases).

Don't want to be too discouraging, but security is complex and tricky, and
it's VERY easy to do wrong. You can have a database that's inconvenient and
intrusive but isn't actually secure, or even one that's so locked up that
nobody but a skilled hacker can even open it.... including you!
