I'm attempting to access an Exchange 2000 Server via the Directory
Services Tool in Entourage 2004 and having no success. I was using
Entourage as an Exchange (WebDAV) client, but as I posted in another
message, I cannot "see" some of my top level folders that way and the
constant updating of that mechanism was driving me nuts. Plus, the
fact that Get Entire Message from Server seemed to take forever and
I'll wait a bit before trying that again, unless someone has
suggestions for fixing/alleviating these issues, of course.
Anyway, the Directory Services (Exchange-based setup) worked fine,
allowing me to search through the listings of the Exchange LDAP server;
however, since I have switched to using an IMAP setup for accessing
mail on the Exchange Server no amount of fiddling/cajoling have
produced any results.
Does anybody have any suggestions for getting this to work? Is it
not at all possible to search the Exchange LDAP server from anything
but an Exchange Account in Entourage 2004? I've also tried to set it
up for searching via Apple's Address Book application, but
unfortunately that hasn't worked either.
