Access to Hotmail via Outlook and Outlook Express now requires a subscription

so we can finally start charging people for putting their non-hotmail
accounts on their msn, great :)
However, i do have this problem : I need the headers (originating IP) of
this email i have on a free account, does anyone know how to get these
without outlook/outlook express (DAV support or whatever) ?

Hi Josh,

I just tried to download my hotmail messages into Outlook and got the
message that I must "upgrade". I thought Hotmail was for free?! Is this no
longer the case? Very disappointing.

Hotmail still has free accounts - but you have to check them using the
hotmail website. They're discontinuing the use of Hotmail access for free
accounts in OE, Outlook, in an effort to curb spam sent from free accounts,
which is all too common.
