I realize that this question is not strictly "on-topic" w/r/t this NG;
however, it directly affects participation in this group.

Several of the larger carriers of newsgroups
have recently announced that they will no longer carry any newsgroups,
or that they will henceforth only carry certain newsgroups, etc.

Verizon, for instance, just announced that as of 2008/06/24,
they will only carry "the big 8",
which apparently doesn't include microsoft.*.

Anyone have any recommendations on other servers that offer this NG?
