Access to saved documents is not available. Why?

I have many saved documents in Microsoft Word, but I am unable to access any
of them. I get the 'not available' box. Even documents created and saved
today are not available. Why? What happened?

If you're using Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the
Office Plugin that comes with it. See
