When I open access (or any other office application
except excel) it says installing Access feature... (or
the name of the office app). Even if I let the process
complete, it still appears every time.
Here are screen shots:
http://enginecontrol.dyn.ee/accesserror.gif
http://enginecontrol.dyn.ee/powerpointerror.gif
Here is the log I saved from regmon:
http://enginecontrol.dyn.ee/access.log
Is it normal for the key
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0
\Common\General\DisableIE5DemandInstall to not be found?
Also, there are several places after the drive letter
where there is a ? instead of /. For example, "C?
\WINDOWS\System32\FM20.DLL". Is this normal?
Any ideas on how I can fix this? I know these are very
specific questions. Can I contact microsoft directly? If
so, how? Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.
