access viewing tab to select tables, forms, queries etc

Hi can anyone explain why on one of my access databases the tab on the LHS of
my screen which normally allows me to access my queries, tables etc is not
working. It works okay on my other databases. Is it possible that something
may have been changed as other people do have administrator and editor
access. Can anyone suggest how I fix this
