Access Violation in Excel

E

eseyler

I have a shared spreadsheet that will open fine with Excel 2000 SR1a
and Excel 2003 but not Excel 2000 SP3.
It used to open on all 3 versions but then something changed and now
the SP3 version will crash when that sheet is launched. Using safe
mode or disabling macros had no change

Any ideas on what might have changed? A macro maybe?

If you get access violation messages, then the most likely cause is changed
user permissions on the network share in which this file is stored. Check
with your IT department about any recent changes in user or group
permissions for the server drive/directory in which this shared workbook is
stored.
