Access Word XP from outside computer?

My computer has crashed with a nasty trogan..or however itis spelled!

I am in need of finishing a report that is on a Word Doc, on my desk top. I
am trying to access this doc from an outside computer and don't know how to
do it. Can you help me? My home word program is XP
