I have an app in Access that produces reports. User want to output those to
Word for edit and mail. Doing this the 1st time every day works OK. when the
2nd, or subsequent one is run user gets an error msg. saying the file is
open. (Both files have the same name, that is to say Access produces the same
rpt using the same name evey time)
They have closed Word and closed the previous Word document. If they exit
out of Access and re-enter they can run the report and get it into Word w/o
error.
Seems that Access, or Win, is not aware that Word has closed.
Running Office 2003 Win XP SP 2 Win server 2003 on LAN. This problem seems
to occure on 1 w/s only, not reported elsewhere.
