I have an application that periodically (via a schedule) reads a dbf file into Access XP. Unfortunately, while Access reads the dbase file fine, it also brings in deleted records from the dbase file. I've tried this in Access 97, and it works fine (no deleted records appear).
Any hints on how to import records from dbase (using Access XP/2002) without bringing in the deleted records?
Also, packing the dbase file before importing is not an option. The import works fine ... I just don't want the deleted records to be imported.
