Access XP Runtime install fails/files not found - 2nd posting

We are having the same problem finding information about
the Access Runtime install. I tried doing the update to
the runtimes, which I found in

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;813617.

We get the same error:

Error 1311. Source file not found:
D:\Files\MOD\Office1.cab [etc.]

The help file with the developer CD says that the runtime
files should be found on the Office XP installation CD. We
tried plugging in the Office XP CD, but we still get an
error message.

If anyone knows where to find the runtime files, please let
us in on the big secret.

It may be that there are no runtime files. According to
one of the other posts, the runtime and interactive
executables are the same. The difference appearance is
because of hundreds of settings in the Registry. I think
we are just victims of tricky coding.

(Second Posting - No response from 22-July submission)
For customers of my Access XP application product, they
are having difficulties installing Access 2002 XP Runtime
standalone, prior to installing my products:
1-On several PCs at different sites, running
ACCESSRT.MSI, yields: "Error 1311. Source file not
found:\D:\FILES\OFFICE1.CAB. Verify that the file exists
and that you can access it.". The files are present. Is
it necessary to stoop to writing DOS Path statements?
2-I cannot find documentation anywhere for the Access
Runtime installation. I am deploying Microsoft Office
Applications throughout the world and this information is
essential for all XP developers and their customers.
This is a Microsoft marketing issue, as it promotes sales
of Office XP's Professional edition.
