Access XP Wizards freezes 98

Looked over other Access wizard posts here. but did not seem to be relevant.
Cannot even run the Northwind database, assume the switchboard uses a
wizard.

Have reinstalled Office XP twice, applied all service packs and patches
Office update suggests. Acwztool.mde and Acwzmain.mde both seem to be
present and correct.

This problem is driving me to distraction, I need to employ the wizard to do
quite a few things. Have thought about going back to Office 97 at least
that worked ok, but need to use XP.

Hi Baloo,

Are you having a problem with the Wizards in general?

If so, try Re-registering "accwiz.dll"
Click Start > Run
Type regsvr32 "c:\winnt\accwiz.dll" and click OK
