I have a problem that access 97 wont install onto my hard drive and will only
run with the disk in drive D.
I dont know why, I was going to contact Microsoft but the solution by
telephone (if they know the answer) would could 14.95.
What a sad world we live in when one of the richest companies in the world
charges for support for its product. Especially when we pay such hich costs
for them in the first place.
Sad anyone prepared to assist would be appreciated.

First, do you have the original Access CD that you are trying to install? If
not, what are you trying to install? What, exactly and in detail, happens
when you try to install.

If Access is not installed, I am not sure how you are running it.

I was under the impression that installation assistance was a free support
call (at least recent or current versions -- what version do you have?).
