I have a multitask problem with access2003 in winXPsp2.
The following scenario describes the problem.
- Access2003 is processing a read/write validation using 2 access data DB's.
- The user starts another program (excel,word,outlook,or etc...).
- Access2003 freezes while the user is the other program.
- Exiting the other program doesn't make access come back.
- The taskManager is required to stop the unresponsive access2003 process.
- This problem only occurs in winXPsp2/sp1.
- There is no problem in access2000 using win98se.
- There is a small hickup in access2003 using win2000prosp4.
( when the access2003 process finishes it grabs focus and minimizes the
other
program)
- NOTE: It seems that the newer the OS the bigger the problem
- Does anyone have information on this problem?
